Horticultural Consultation & Identification

Backgrounds in floristic botany, horticulture, and ecology enable me to understand the growing preferences and habits of plants in both wild and cultivated landscapes. I provide horticultural consultation to landscape architects, businesses, and home owners requiring extra information for landscapes, garden designs, and other projects involving plants. I also offer landscape and garden assessments to help homeowners better understand the needs of their garden plants and whether they should modify their beds or plantings to improve appearance and performance. Plant identification and consultation to identify pests, diseases, and other cultural problems are also offered. Each contracted consultation will end in a formal report detailing the plants covered, their cultural requirements, and any other recommendations relating to projects.
